Started on 31-10-2008 to overcome the acute shortage of cadavers required for teaching and research purposes.
Registered under H. P. Societies Registration Act (2006) [Act No. 25 of 2006].
Forty volunteers till date, have pledged to donate their body after death to the department for teaching and research purposes.
The first body received under Deh Dan Samiti was of Sh. Baldev Verma s/o Sh. Jagar Singh resident of Vill. Bhangari, P.O. Chokar, Teh. Sangrah, Distt. Sirmour (H.P.)
